I was a tile setter for 16 years
in the hot Florida sun. I figured there had to be an easier way so I
started tattooing out of my house. Back then it was hard to break into
the tattoo trade, unlike nowadays where every Tom Dick and Harry who
picks up a machine calls themselves tattoo artists. I was a scratchier
for three years. Finally I got hired in a shop. I worked both tile and
tattoos for two years. Soon after I opened both, South Florida Tattoo
Company, Inc. in Ft. Pierce and Melbourne
